Abhijit Dutta, CEO, Concept Educations has been awarded the Sadin-Pratidin Achievers Award 2015. The award was handed over by Hon’ble Minister of External Affairs, Govt. Of India, Smt. Sushma Swaraj on the 27th of December,2015 at Radisson Blu, Guwahati.

To honour people and organisations from various sectors of the state, who have taken the name of Assam to glorious heights, by contributing to the states’ development, Sadin-Pratidin Group, a leading media house of Guwahati, gave away “Achievers Award 2015”, to 23 leading personalities and organisations of the state.

Mr. Abhijit Dutta has been honoured with the “Young Business Leader” Award for his outstanding contribution in educating the youths of Northeast to reach such higher scales through his organisation, “Concept Educations”. Mr. Abhijit Dutta, an educationist and a passionate teacher, has an experience of 10 years in the field of education. After completing his schooling from the city of Silchar, Assam, Abhijit went to Kota to prepare for IIT JEE. While studying at Kota, Abhijit felt the need for similar coaching institutes back home in Assam.

He founded Concept Educations in the year 2005 while still a student at (IIT-G). Concept Educations which started with a humble batch of 30 students is now a premier coaching institute in Assam that provides coaching for Engineering and Medical entrance exams to more than 2000 students every year with its centres in places like Guwahati, Sivasagar and Silchar in Assam.

Forgoing a high paying job as an Engineer, he chose to be an entrepreneur to bring about a change in the competitive examination scene at his native place. And today, Concept Education is producing the highest number of successful Engineering and Medical Entrance Qualifiers in the North Eastern Region.

The Achievers Award was conducted by the Sadin, Asomiya Pratidin, Nandini, Satkhori and Pratidin Time Group. The jury of the Achievers Award 2015 included Nitya Bora, Editor, Asomiya Pratidin, Satkhori Editor, Anuradha Sarma Pujari, Nandini Editor,Maini Mahanta and Chief Editor, Pratidin Time, Nitumoni Saikia.
